Goodbye Giant Rubber Duck!

Goodbye Giant Rubber Duck!

14 June, 2013

The giant duck that was floating in the harbour that has brought such joy and amusement to Hong Kong residents over the past few months will be leaving our harbour for Pittsburgh by September.

The 16.5 metre tall yellow duck by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman aptly named rubber duck was towed into Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour last month generating a great amount of confusion and joy. It provided much needed light hearted fun for many and we will be sad to see it go.

This interesting art piece was a joy to many – do you have interesting art collection? If so and you are in the moving process it is highly likely that you will require bespoke packing and transport services to enable your art to be moved without damage.

It’s said that money follows art and this is certainly the case in Hong Kong. China’s growing wealth has caught the art world’s attention and inspired a burgeoning art scene. China is now the world’s second largest art market.

Hong Kong, with its tax-free status, strong financial services industry and business-friendly environment, has become the hub for China’s growing interest in art.

If you require bespoke packaging, transport and storage for you art collection get in contact with Cube today for a friendly, expert service.
